STaSS was formed in May 2007 by Tina Latifah Jones and Debra-Jane Nelson, MD of Think Mahogany, with the aim of supporting people living with HIV, Hepatitis and other Blood Bourne Viruses (BBVs) and those closely affected by these conditions, preventing the spread of viruses and promoting Positive Sexual Health through education, training, research and community initiatives. STaSS plays a major role in developing a co-ordinated response to the challenges of HIV/AIDS in Milton Keynes, surrounding areas and beyond.  STaSS has been registered in Ghana as Shika Tamaa Foundation to provide the same fundamental services to the people in Ghana.

STaSS is a service tailored to meet the diverse needs of its service-users, majority of whom are from ethnic minority backgrounds. STaSS have been providing an excellent, unique and certified support service with a strong client base.
