Keni Kodjo’s summary of The Secret Garden
For the many vendors who were gathered at the Holiday Inn, it was a chance to showcase excellence.
For Jojo and Susan, it was a chance to renew the vows they made to each other 6 years ago.
When the guests were ushered into the room for the vow renewal ceremony,
floral arrangements in white and green and flickering candles awaited them.
The bridal party walked down the aisle,
beautifully dressed in clothes designed by Abrantie the Gentleman and She by Bena.
Under the watchful eyes of professional MC Matthew Ansah, the bride and groom exchanged their renewal vows and covenanted to many more years of love, adventure and dancing.
In the hallways, the LED display stands the digital AV team from iamAdinkra had set up showed the guests the way to the vendor interaction session.
Guests had a rare opportunity to interact with the vendors, see their work first hand, ask them questions and also get amazing discounts from booking their services.
When the doors were opened to the reception grounds, it became apparent why the theme was ‘Secret Garden’.
The room was indeed a secret indoor garden overflowing with flowers,lights and candles, artistically put together by Think Mahogany.
Even the cakes by Lamie Design were different flowers that all fit into the secret garden theme.
MC Matthew Ansah quickly got the party started with a number of ice breaking activities and before long, guests were laughing like old time friends.
PeeKay Dwomoh rolled out his platinum collection of old hits, new hits and the classics.
Guests had a variety of dishes to choose from-both continental and Ghanaian.
They also had Bliss giveaway swag bags to take home with them- filled with goodies from some sponsors.
Then of course it was time to dance the night away. With the groomsmen leading the way, the couple, vendors and guests got on the dance floor and let loose.
It became what a wedding is really about- a celebration of love and life.
